Lost faith in the people on both sides: Ex Pak foreign minister, Kasuri

Karachi: The special assistant to Pakistan's prime minister on foreign affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi, has said that the country is ready to hold talks with India on all outstanding issues.

According to the Dawn, his statement came while he was addressing a seminar on "Pakistan India Relations - Emerging Relatives" organised by the Karachi Council of Foreign Relations (KCFR) on Tuesday.

Fatemi called upon the members of civil society to continue to urge the leadership of both the countries to hold dialogue.

Former foreign minister Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri, who was also present on the occasion, said that he had lost faith in the people on both sides and hoped that things would move in a positive direction.
