Director Rajesh, whose last outing was the Arya-Tamannaah-starrer Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga, is all set to do his next film with music composer-actor GV Prakash.
“Prakash and I know each other well. We used to meet at Arya’s house for Ramzan to have biryani. Recently, we met and discussed many things including films. I watched his recent release Trisha Illana Nayanthara and it impressed me a lot. I felt the film had this ‘cult’ factor like my Siva Manasula Sakthi (SMS). Things are in the initial stage and I told him an outline of the script, which he liked a lot. We have neither zeroed in on any production unit as of now, nor the leading lady,” Rajesh tells us and adds that even this film will be like his earlier ones, with a liberal dose of friendship, comedy and romance, but will have a different approach to the script and story.
“I like to keep things simple and don’t believe in ‘overintellectual’ filmmaking. My films are a reflection of my easy-going nature and are aimed at making the audi laugh and have fun. This one will be like that,” he says.
What’s next for Rajesh? He pauses and adds, a film with Jiiva is still on cards and DC already reported it some time ago. “Now, Jiiva is quite busy with many films in his kitty. Once he completes all of them, we will definitely do a film together,” he smiles.
