Assaduddin Owaisi struggles to make mark in Bihar

AIMIM chief wants setting up of a council for Seemanchal
Patna: The fifth and final phase of election scheduled to be held on November 5 for 57 seats is considered crucial for AIMIM chief Assaduddin Owaisi.
Struggling to make a mark in the Seemanchal region from where his party is contesting on six seats spread across four districts Kishanganj, Araria, Purnea and Katihar, he now wants the setting up of Seemanchal Region Development Council “to end the backwardness of the Seemanchal area”.
Holding grand secular alliance responsible for the backwardness of the minority dominated region, he alleged that the leaders of these parties treat Muslims as only vote banks but do nothing for their development.
“Now my party will work for the development of the region,” he said. But his fiery speeches to develop the region have failed to draw much attention.
