An auto-rickshaw driver was electrocuted to death when he answered his mobile phone
Hyderabad: An auto-rickshaw driver was electrocuted to death when he answered his mobile phone, which was charging, in Nalgonda on Monday. S. Mohan (22) was a native of Balem Tanda in Chintapally village in Nalgonda district.
On Monday morning at around 9am, when his parents had left for work and his brother, who is also an auto-rickshaw driver, was cleaning his vehicle, Mohan got a call on his mobile which was charging.
He answered the call without disconnecting the charger. There was a short circuit and he was electrocuted. His brother noticed him lying on the ground when he came inside. “We have not received any complaint. If we get a complaint, we will take action,” said Chintapally SI Raghavender Reddy.
