With weak career graph, the comedian may have to cut down his Rs 5 lakh per day salary

It seems that Brahmanandam needs to get out of his comfort zone and give his career a jump start. His performance in the recent films Bruce Lee and Sher were quite bland and hardly evoked any laughs, and leading producers could look for alternatives.
The comedian has often carried entire films on his shoulders. Films like Dhee, Ready, Dookudu, Krishna, Adurs, Race Gurram and many others have him to thank for their success.
But now, many feel that the comedian is set in a rut and has to come up with something new. “Directors and producers are looking for other options and two big directors have even decided to replace him with other actors like Prudhvi, Srinivas Reddy and Saptagiri,” says a source. Moreover, Brahmanandam’s remuneration, at '5 lakh a day, is also sky high.
