It is known that actor Rajinikanth is currently touring Malaysia shooting for Pa Ranjith’s Kabali and the recent buzz is that actress Radhika Apte will join the film’s sets on December 1. A little birdie tells us that it’s unclear as to where the shooting of her schedule will take place.
It looks like the actress is quite excited to play Rajinikanth’s wife in the film. The first schedule of Kabali was wrapped up in Chennai with a flashback portion, where a heroic fire sequence was shot with over 200 extras. In fact, sources say superstar had canned a few shots in a local Malaysian prison and doesn’t prefer using his caravan at the shooting spot but instead tries to mingle with the unit members.
75 per cent of the film will be canned in Malaysia and rumours are abuzz that superstar and the team are now going to Kuala Lumpur for shooting next. Produced by S Kalaipuli Thanu, Kabali will hit the screens next year in April. The actor is reportedly playing a mafia don. John Vijay, Dhanshikaa, Dinesh and Kalaiarasan play important roles in the film.
