Rafi said that he’s a married man and this would create a ruckus at home

After shedding a few pounds, actress Meenakshi of Karuppasami Kuthagaitharar, is back in business with a movie titled Naer Mugam (NM). Murali Krishna directs the movie and Rafi debuts as the male lead. NM is a psychological thriller about seven couples who go on a picnic to a dense forest, and never return. There is a crucial scene where Meenakshi and Rafi are in a life-and-death situation.
The director thought that showing them engaging in an intense lip-lock, would go well with the mood. With great hesitation, he sent a few of his assistant directors to explain the scene first to Meenakshi since she was not informed of a lip-lock while narrating the script.
Much to his surprise, the lady was convinced with the aesthetic way Murali wanted to shoot it and gave her nod at once. But the trouble started when they approached the hero Rafi. A unit source informs us that the actor, who has also taken the onus of producing the movie, refused to participate in a kissing scene. Apparently, Rafi said that he’s a married man and this would create a ruckus at home. He had also told the director that even if the latter asks him to jump from a ten-storied building he is willing to do, but not a lip-lock!
