VTV Ganesh is the latest addition to the star cast of psychological thriller Vinodhan, directed by debutante Victor Jayaraj. Speaking to DC, Victor said that he enjoyed working with Ganesh and that his influence has rubbed on him being with Ganesh on the sets.
“It was total fun directing him and you won’t believe — even after he left the sets, his influence on me was such that I started talking like him,” laughs Victor. When Victor narrated the script to Ganesh, the latter thought that his role was a small one, but Victor managed to convince him to be a part of this film.
“His character brings a twist to the story. He is often seen playing hero’s friend in movies cracking jokes. But the character he plays in Vinodhan is entirely different. When I wrote the script I felt that he has to be there for that character,” Victor tells us.
So, what exactly is his character in the movie? “When a person gets affected by a disorder, before the parents take him to doctor, they always think of consulting another one, and he plays such a role,” says Victor. Touted to be a based on the medical condition Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Vinodhan has Vedhika and Varun in lead roles.
