Mahalaxmi, in her petition alleged that she was denied justice
"We were living on the income from our labour. But after the incident my husband was admitted to hospital and I am taking care of him. I appeal to SHRC to intervene and do justice to my family," said Mahalaxmi in her petition.
Hyderabad: Mahalaxmi, wife of T. Srinivas, who was injured during the demolition of illegal structures at Jawaharnagar by Shameerpet mandal enforcement workers, approached the State Human Rights Commission seeking justice for her husband.
Mahalaxmi, in her petition alleged that she was denied justice when she approached the joint collector of Ranga Reddy and that the police took the side of revenue authorities.

The workers demolished nine unauthorised structures constructed on government land.
