Mirchi Siva who was recently seen in the comic caper Masala Padam, has teamed up with Powerstar Srinivasan for a film which is being directed by Thiraivannan. The director is known for his film Katcheri Arambam which had Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa in the lead roles.
According to a source, the film has been titled Simmakkal Sekhar, and the shooting of the movie is happening at a brisk pace in the city. Billed as a rom-com, the makers will officially announce the details pertaining to the other cast and crew soon. Meanwhile, Siva is awaiting the release of 144 which has him romancing Oviya for the second time.
