Manthani police registered a case and took up investigations

Karimnagar: A Godavarikhani’s court on Friday awarded life term and imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 to three youths who were involved in murder of a youth of the town two years back.
The town’s court monitoring system sub-inspector Y. Vallibaba said that the VI additional District Sessions judge G. Venkata Krishnaiah pronounced the verdict, awarding life term to Penchala Raju, Kunamalla Srikanth and his brother Kumar after finding them guilty by examining witnesses and evidences with regard to the murder case. They are all natives of Godavarikhani and aged below 25.
Penchala Raju with the help of his friends Srikanth and Kumar killed one Budida Sathish, a native of Potharam village in Muttaram mandal, by offering excess liquor to him at a canal on January 21,2013. He wanted to eliminate Sathish for falling in love with the former’s sister. Manthani police registered a case and took up investigations.
