Siddaramaiah: Everyone in Congress happy
He dismissed any feeling of ill will among party members
Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah dismissed any feeling of ill will among party members over the recent cabinet expansion. “There are no hard feelings regarding Cabinet expansion among anybody in the party. Everyone is happy. It is only the media which creates such news,” he said on Friday.
On his recent meeting with Union Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi, he said, “Though Karnataka has suffered crop losses worth Rs 16,000 crore, we have submitted a memorandum seeking Rs 3,850 crore for drought relief as per SDRF norms. It was on September 10 and 13 that the Central team visited State to assess the drought scenario. Yet, the Centre is yet to release money so far. So we had been to meet him to urge him to release drought relief funds,” he said. “Mr Rajnath Singh said they were busy with Bihar elections and funds will be released after holding the high power committee meeting after the polls,” he added.
