M V Rajasekharan backs Dr G for DCM
He reiterated his demand for rewarding Dr G with the deputy chief minister’s post
BENGALURU: Veteran Congress leader and former Union minister M V Rajasekharan on Friday reiterated his demand for rewarding KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar with the deputy chief minister’s post.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of “Sarthaka Samavesha,” where Dr Parameshwar was felicitated for completing five year as president of KPCC here, he said “Whatever I have expressed or demanding since last couple of months is my personal opinion. I still stick to my demand that Dr Parameshwar should be elevated as DCM if not now at least during the next cabinet reshuffle. This is my stand which I have convened to central leaders of the party in my personal capacity. Therefore, I will not change my stand.” He emphasised that there were no full stops in politics. Therefore, there was scope for creation of DCM post.
