Chandrababu Naidu praises KCR, hits out at Jagan Mohan Reddy
Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu took an indirect dig on YSRC chief and Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday over his abse-nce at the high-profile capital foundation stone-laying ceremony even when TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao turned up for the event. “When the entire world watched the foundation stone-laying ceremony with interest, a gentleman (Jagan) does not accept the invitation extended to him. It has become a practice for the AP Opposition to politicise everything. It is wrong on their part to instigate the people at a time when they should rather be co-operating with the state,” he said.
We are making maximum efforts for the special status and special package from the Centre," Mr Naidu said. The CM made these observations while addressing a public meeting at Podalakur. He expressed confidence in developing the state on par with three top states in the country by 2022 and elevate it to first place by 2029 and on par with Singapore and Dubai by 2050.
