All the three have clean administrative reports and are free from controversies

Chennai: The name of three senior IAS officers Har Sahay Meena, Shivdas Meena and Leena Nair are making the rounds for the top post of Tamil Nadu chief electoral officer. According to informed sources, the state government is to recommend a panel of three names to the election commission of India as the incumbent chief electoral officer Sandeep Saxena is likely to join the ECI shortly.
All the three have clean administrative reports and are free from controversies. While Leena belongs to Kerala other two officials are native to Rajasthan, said a secretariat source adding that the an order from ECI was expected shortly. Leena Nair is the seniormost in the panel and Shivdas Meena and Har Sayah Meena are in the ranks of principal secretary to government. Har Sahay Meena is currently heading the tourism ministry as its commissioner. No nonsense Shivdas Meena is the secretary to food and consumer department and has served the Chennai corporation and Chennai metro water at various levels. He was also appointed as the special officer to cleanse the Annamalai University, which ran in to a series of controversies. Soft-spoken Leena Nair is the first woman chairperson of Marine Products Export Development Authority, government of India.
