BENGALURU: The two teenagers who had allegedly teased and assaulted a 22-year-old woman at Jayanagar 7th Block on October 20 were picked up and remanded to juvenile home by the Banashankari police.
The teenagers, both aged 16, are PU students. “The locals were questioned and the details were taken on those who visited the spot in the evenings. Based on that information, the two teenagers were picked up and they confessed to the assault. As they are minors, they were remanded to juvenile home,” the police said.
“They confessed that the woman objected to their teasing then an argument ensued and that they slapped her,” the police said. The 22-year-old PR professional was assaulted by the two boys when she was walking to her gym around 7.30 pm on October 20.
