Expect ‘smart boys’ to swagger into town and tickle the funny bone of the audience. Director M. Anoop Raj will soon be releasing his film titled Smart Boys that takes a look at the lives of three boys who are anything but smart and hardworking.
Anoop says, “Contrary to the title, my film is about three lazy youths played by Maanav, Linu Shankar and Shamsher, who are from financially very stable families but end up moving from one new business to another failing in each. Their latest ‘get rich quick’ scheme is to buy a resort on the border but they get trapped by a conman and the story goes on to show how they escape the trap. The heroines are Kalpana, Rini Raj and Nora. The film will be a full length comedy entertainer. The film is produced by five of Anoop’s friends under the Dream Makers Productions banner and the locations are the capital city. The film is expected to release by early January.
