South Africa pacers have a ball – ‘Nice to meet you, Katrina’
Mumbai: The South African cricket team is leaving no stone unturned to include leisure in between work in their ongoing India tour, with a bit of Bollywood thrown in.
The team recently went to Goa for a vacation to celebrate their limited-overs (T20, ODI) series win. While there, speedster Dale Steyn posted a photograph of him hanging around near the Panjim church – one of the oldest in India and much seen in films.
Well, that was not all, after returning here – ahead of the match against Board President XI at the Brabourne Stadium (Cricket Club of India – Steyn bumped into Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif.
The fast bowler, clicked a photograph with the lady, along with colleague Morne Morkel and said: “So we bumped into this lady tonight, pretty well known in India... Nice to meet u Katrina.”
Earlier, David Miller’s dinner meeting with actress Preity Zinta at a restaurant in Bandra drew a lot of attention. So much so that there were speculations that they may be seeing each other, owing to their IPL connection – Kings XI Punjab.

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra – Katrina’s co-star from the film ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ currently being shot – also had a tryst with cricket in the recent past.
The actor played cricket with New Zealand veterans Stephen Fleming, Simon Doull and Scott Styris — on the Isobel Glacier, Mount Aspiring National Park in New Zealand.
