Wait for Land Regularisation Scheme ends in November

Hyderabad: The long wait of over 30,000 applicants for regularisation of their lands in GHMC limits will be over in a month.
The Telangana government issued directions to the revenue department on Thursday to issue regularisation certificates for these applicants, who had encroached on government land, by November-end by collecting fees in installments. In January, the government had come out with the Land Regularisation Scheme, inviting applications in free and payment categories.
The deadline had ended in March. While regularisation certificates were issued to free category applicants meant for poor up to 125 sq. yards in June and July, the government had kept the payment category applications, for above 125 sq. yards, pending.
