TDP panel recommends Gundu Sudharani’s suspension

Warangal: The district TD core committee, which held an emergency meeting here on Thursday, decided to suspend Rajya Sabha member Gundu Sudharani from the party for planning to join the TRS.

The decision was taken by the panel, comprising party national spokesperson Revuri Prakash Reddy, district president Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Seethakka, Anishetty Murali and other leaders.

They expressed dissatisfaction over the MP meeting Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Delhi and praising the schemes being implemented by the TRS government. They also said that it would be no loss to the party with Ms Sudharani’s exit.

The panel’s recommendations were sent to the party head office in Hyderabad to take a final decision.

Ms Sudharani’s exit is expected to deal a severe blow to the TD, as it prepares for the Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll.
