Children lock horns with elders for park

Hyderabad: Two 13-year-old kids, Md Mohiuddin and Md Ikram, walked into the Golconda police station with a strange petition on Thursday.

The duo demanded strong action against some elders, who allegedly drove them and their friends off from a GHMC park lin Jhansinagar while they were playing cricket. They argued that it’s their right to play in the park since it is owned by the government.

The kids verses seniors row ended when police decided that the kids will not be allowed to play in the park as it is not meant for playing cricket. No case was registered.
