Ellie Goulding says Taylor Swift is a ‘legend’

British singer Ellie Goulding has confessed that though she now shares a good friendship with pop icon Taylor Swift, she was very nervous when she had met her for the first time.

“I was really nervous, because she’s such a legend, and I remember thinking, ‘Please don’t act like a tw*t, Ellie; don’t say anything stupid’,” Ellie told Cosmopolitan.

However, Taylor apparently then quoted lyrics from one of Ellie’s songs and she realised she could be cool with her. “Taylor’s really funny,” Ellie added, “She’s got a very British sense of humour. We love doing scenes from The Office.”
