Check out new still of Priyanka Chopra from 'Jai Gangaajal'

Mumbai: Keeping the buzz alive, the makers of 'Jai Gangaajal' have released another new still from the film starring Priyanka Chopra. The actress will be seen taking on the role of a female cop Abha Mathur, in the action flick that is being helmed by Prakash Jha.

While ‘Gangaajal’ revolved around a story of an senior police, who was transferred to an area in Bihar to fight against corruption, this second film will also have a similar undertone with Priyanka taking on some powerful and influential men in her district.

In an interview Jha was quoted as saying, “'Gangaajal 2' is about today's dictum of society-police relationship. ‘Gangaajal’ was more from the heart. This one has all the bizarre things happening around us in reality. The film is not made on a big scale and also has very less characters. It is a concentrated story."

While Priyanka is busy tasting the success of her American TV series ‘Quantico’, she is looking forward to the release of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ followed by ‘Jai Gangaajal’.
