Swathi attempts the horror genre for the first time with Raj Kiran’s Tripura

Swathi, who is as popular in Malayalam and Tamil film industries as she is here, is waiting for her Telugu release Tripura.
Interestingly, this is the only film she had signed this year; her last film, Karthikeya, had released last year.
Director Raj Kiran, who made a successful debut with the horror comedy Geethanjali, has chosen the same genre for Tripura. “Swathi is a village girl, a doctor’s wife,” says Raj Kiran. The film is releasing on November 6. Swathi is doing a horror film for the first time in Telugu.
