There was a lot of speculation about lensman-turned-director KV Anand’s next film. It was initially rumoured that Arya or Jayam Ravi would play the lead in the film, which was touted to be an action flick. We now hear that KV Anand is keen on roping in Jiiva for his film, which is likely to be produced by Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the same. It should be noted that KV’s blockbuster film Ko, a 2011 release, also had Jiiva in the lead.
RS Infotainment’s previous film Yaan too had Jiiva in the protagonist’s role. Interestingly, there have been changes in the protagonists in Anand’s previous flicks. Anegan, which starred Dhanush in the lead role, was initially supposed to have Vijay in the protagonist’s role. Similarly, it was Simbu who was expected to star in the political thriller Ko.
