The shooting for the film has been completed

Actor Kishore, who has recently been part of Rajinikanth’s Kabali and Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam, has also completed Kadikara Manithargal, directed by debutant director Balan. Billed as a film with a social conscience, television actress Latha Rao is paired opposite Kishore, while Karunakaran will be seen romancing debutant Sherin. According to a source, the movie throws light on the issues tenants face in Chennai.
“There are several problems which are faced by tenants in the city who come from villages and other places. A good number of people often have to lie to get apartments or homes to stay alone or with family. This will be the crux of the movie,” says the source. What happens when the characters played by Kishore and Karunakaran get together, forms the rest of the plot. The shooting for the film has been completed and it is now in postproduction. Its audio launch is slated to happen in the first week of December.
