Nani hasn’t opted out of Mani Ratnam’s film

Reports about Nani opting out of a Mani Ratnam film are false. Apparently, the film keeps getting postponed. “It is not Nani who’s backed out. Actually, Mani Ratnam wanted Karthi’s dates but the actor was busy with other projects. So the film is on, but not sure when it will start. But whenever it does, Nani will be in it,” says a close source of the actor.

It has been Nani’s dream to work with the veteran director and he has always said that if he gets a chance to work with Mani Ratnam, he won’t think twice. In fact, Nani will be replacing Malayalam actor Dilquer in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual film.
