TDP: Make Yadadri a separate district

Hyderabad: Saying that it was unfortunate that the state government wanted to include the famous shrine Yadadri in the proposed new district of Siddipet, TD senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Monday demanded that Yadadri be made a separate district with the shrine being the headquarters.

Speaking to the media here, Mr Narasimhulu said Yadadri is considered the second Tirupati and is the only famous temple of TS.

Mr Narasimhulu said efforts to make it a world-class temple city were highly appreciated by one and all, including the TD. “I consulted other parties on the issue and all agree on Yadadri being made a district,” he said.
