There were reports widely published that director Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara (TIN) met Kamal Haasan and managed to narrate a one-liner of the script that he had in mind for Ulaganayagan recently.
Besides, the reports suggest Adhik would be directing a film with Kamal, which would have five liplock scenes in it as Kamal liked the script too! But sources say that it was only a courtesy meeting and Adhik didn’t talk to Kamal anything regarding films. “Adhik is a huge Kamal fan and wanted to meet him. He was there with his dad and sought Kamal’s blessings. Also he asked Kamal to watch his adult comedy TIN,” a source said, to which Kamal said he would consider it.
When DC contacted Adhik, he said, “Meeting Kamal sir was a dream come true moment for me and my dad because we have always wanted to meet the legend. For any filmmaker, directing Kamal sir is a wish. Since, photos of me visiting Kamal sir went viral, a few publications reported that I am going to do a film with him, but I apologise to Kamal sir. After all, there’s nothing wrong apologising to somebody, whom you feel is next to the god.” However, a little birdie tells us that there could yet be a future for this young filmmaker with the Ulaganayagan!
