Hyderabad: A Class X student of Bhashyam High School in Malkajgiri committed suicide at his home in Tukaramgate area on Sunday. M Rajesh hanged himself from a ceiling fan. Family members say he received an SMS on his mobile phone, and the message apparently hurt him. Rajesh was the second among three sons of his parents. His mother passed away last year, and his father Madhusudhan is a railway employee.
Sunday morning, Rajesh was sleeping in the hall. At about 8.30 am, his father woke Rajesh up and scolded him for sleeping till late in the morning. Rajesh woke up, but went and slept in another room after his father went out.
When his father returned at 11.30am, he tried to open the door of the room Rajesh was in, but it was latched from inside. It was found from the window that Rajesh was hanging from the ceiling fan with a nylon rope,” said Tukaramgate inspector Laxmi Narayana.
