Bengaluru: Motorbike stunt turns tragic, one dies
Bengaluru: The decision of three friends to ride triple on a bike led to the death of one of them, after the vehicle met with an accident in R.T. Nagar traffic police station limits early Sunday.
The deceased, Avinash (21), a private firm employee and resident of R.T. Nagar, did not sustain any external injury, but later developed uneasiness and died. The accident took place when Avinash and his friends Naresh and Chandru, were returning home after viewing Dasara festivities at J.C. Road. Investigations reveal that they left J.C. Road at around 6 am.
Naresh was riding the bike, while Avinash and Chandru were on the pillion. Naresh lost control of the bike and fell. As none of them had sustained any external injuries, they continued their journey and reached home. Then Avinash suddenly complained of uneasiness, and started bleeding from nose while having breakfast.
“Avinash was immediately rushed to B.R. Ambedkar Hospital from where he was referred to Nimhans. Doctors at Nimhans advised him to take rest and ruled out any internal bleeding.
They asked him to approach any local hospital if his condition deteriorated. While on his way home Avinash complained of uneasiness and was rushed to M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, where he was declared brought dead,” said an investigating officer. R.T. Nagar traffic police are awaiting post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of the death.
