What are the things that pop in your mind first when you think of Disney princesses? Pretty, innocent, angelic…? What about – ‘creepy’? This Halloween season, even Disney princesses have not been spared.
Makeup artist Shonagh Scott has experimented with a variety of makeup looks that show all our favourite Disney princesses look like unfortunate murder victims or even zombie-like. The series called ‘Happily Never After’ features the likes Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and others in ways that will surely give you a scare.
The photo series might make you question the whole ideal of ‘happily ever after’ in fairy tales and wonder what endings might look like if stories had a sudden dark twist.
