YSRC will strive for special tag

Senior leader reaffirmed that the YSRC would protest till the state gets special status
Hyderabad: YSRC senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana alleged that AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was facing opposition within his party over special status.
Referring to PM Modi bringing water and soil from Delhi but not making any announcement on special status, Mr Satyanarayana said soil and water did not matter, what was important was respecting the sentiments of the people and the promises made in Parliament.
He reaffirmed that the YSRC would protest till the state gets special status.
He said that an experienced CM like Mr Naidu did not speak of special package and special status at the Amaravati ceremony which exposed his “double speak and double standard.”
He said the protocol is that whenever the PM visits a state, he seeks a report from the government about the expectations of the people and the party in power.
