Andhra Pradesh finance minister takes on YSRC claims
He taunted the party saying “special status is not like shares of Jagathi and Bharathi Cements.”
Hyderabad: Countering the protests of the YSRC against Prime Minister Narendra Modi not announcing special status for AP, finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Saturday taunted the party saying “special status is not like shares of Jagathi and Bharathi Cements.”
In a statement on Saturday, Mr Ramakrishnudu said that Jagan had no right to ask about special status as he had suggested that the Centre bifurcate the state using Article 3 of the Constitution.
He said the Congress and YSRC had once again proven that they are “Talli Congress and Pilla Congress” by burning the effigies of Mr Modi. He asked the Opposition parties not to create hurdles for CM N. Chandrababu Naidu’s work in developing the state. The minister said that CM was asking the Centre for special category status and a special package for the state every time he goes to Delhi.
