Jagan suggested split through Article 3: Minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu
Hyderabad: Countering the allegations of YSR Congress on special status, AP finance minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu said, “special status is not like shares of Jagathi and Bharathi cements.”
In a statement on Saturday, Mr Yanamala said Y.S. Jagan has no right to ask about special category status as he himself suggested to the Centre to bifurcate the state using Article 3 of the Constitution.
Article 3 says to form a new state by separation of territory from any state or by uniting two or more states or parts of states by uniting any territory to a part of any state.
Mr Yanamala said the Congress and the YSR Congress have once again proved that they are “Talli Congress and Pilla Congress” (mother Congress and Baby Congress) by burning the effigies of Prime Minister Modi.
He requested the Opposition parties not to create hurdles for Chief Minister NH. Chandrababu Naidu who is developing the state. Mr Yanamala said the CM has been asking about special category and special package everytime he visited Delhi.
