Hyderabad: A thirtytwo-year-old youth who was accused of clicking pictures of women passengers travelling by an MMTS train was detained briefly by the police here Saturday.
A woman passenger, whose pictures he is suspected to have clicked, created a scene. According to sources, the man boarded the train at Fatehnagar railway station and started taking pictures by his mobile phone.
After a woman raised her voice, other passengers snatched away his phone and roughed him up before he was handed over to police. “We checked his mobile records and found there was no picture of any woman. Nor was there any obscene picture. However, he apologised to the woman and we let him off,” said Gopalapuram inspector Ramchandra Reddy.
