Although actor Vikram had done many movies in Malayalam, his first movie Dhruvam directed by Joshiy remains his favourite. The actor who was in Kochi a few days back for the promotion of his latest Tamil flick 10 Enradhukulla says, “I have done a lot of movies in Malayalam after Dhruvam. But, I have a special fondness towards Dhruvam. It is not merely because of the character that I like this film, but it marked my entry into Mollywood. Besides, I really liked the team and the ambience of that film. It is my first and also my favourite movie in Malayalam.”
Written by A.K. Sajan and S.N. Swamy, Dhruvam which was released in 1994 had seen Vikram appearing as the character Bhadran and it carved a niche for Vikram in Mollywood. He had acted alongside Mammotty, Jayaram and Gauthami in Dhruvam. Later, Vikram teamed up with Joshiy for Sainyam. Saying that he wants to act again in Mollywood, Vikram adds, “That will happen very soon.”
