Actress will meet Azhar’s former wife to take pointers for the biopic on the cricketer

Nargis Fakhri, who plays Sangeeta Bijlani in the biopic on the latter’s husband Mohammad Azharuddin, will be meeting the former actress soon.
Says a source close to the project, “A meeting between Nargis and Ms Bijlani will happen soon. We’ve already informed the two ladies, and they’re game.”
Apparently the only delay is that Sangeeta Bijlani doesn’t want to be involved with the Azhar biopic in any way. Having said that, she is game to meet Nargis to advise her.
Nargis, we hear, is very excited about getting to meet a real-life character who is very much in the public eye.
“For Prachi Desai playing Azhar’s first wife Noureen is easier, as Noureen is no longer in the public eye. The challenge for Nargis is to portray Sangeeta Bijlani as a real person without mimicking or imitating her,” says a source.
