Hyderabad: Despite criticism from the opposition, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao was hailed by social media netizens and Twitterati for attending the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati.
Mr Rao drew loud cheers when he stepped up to speak during the event on Thursday. Some users also posted in a lighter vein that Amaravati wouldn’t have been a reality without Chandrasekhar Rao. “There is no Amaravati without KCR,” posted Suryateja D. The pun was Amaravati wouldn’t have been built if erstwhile AP was not divided.
