Hyderabad: Five persons from here on their way to Kerala on a tour were killed while another was seriously injured in a car mishap Friday morning. The front right tyre of the Innova car they were travelling in burst and the vehicle overturned in Mahbubnagar.
The victims belonged to Chetta Bazar in Old City area. The deceased were Qayyum, 50, MA Sattar, 53, GB Nizam, 51, Syed Zakir Hussain, 50 and Ijaz Hussain, 52. The injured, MA Younus, is undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital in Kurnool. They started out on a hired Innova car for the Kerala trip around 6am. Around 9.30am, when the car reached Rangapur village the front right tyre burst.
