Ram Charan is all set to remake the Tamil film Thani Oruvan in Telugu, to be directed by Surender Reddy. Meanwhile, everyone is wondering who will play the villain, which was played by Arvind Swamy in Tamil. Though the makers had tried to rope in Arvind Swamy for the Telugu version, too, he was not interested.
A source close to the production house now says that Nagarjuna is all set to play the villain. “They considered many names including Rajasekhar and Jagapathi Babu but finally, Nagarjuna came forward to do the character,” says the source.
It is not, however, confirmed officially as they feel that it is too early to announce. But the unit says that Nagarjuna has accepted the role. “The script is almost ready and shooting will start in December,” adds the source.
