69-year old Balakumaran has written over 50 novels and 100 short stories

Director Vishnuvardan’s last release was Arya-Kreshna starrer Yatchan and now it looks like he will be collaborating with the seasoned scriptwriter Balakumaran, who worked in movies like Baassha and Nayagan. “It’s been a great pleasure working on the script with writer Balakumaran. Been busy travelling with him centuries back. Will update u all (sic),” Vishnuvardan wrote on Twitter. The 69-year old Balakumaran has written over 50 novels and 100 short stories, and has also been associated with several successful Tamil films such like Guna, Jeans, Manmadhan and Kaadhalan etc. Dhanush-starrer 2006 film Pudhupettai was his last known work as co-writer.
