Hrithik Roshan meets the real life heroes
Mumbai: On Friday, Hrithik Roshan, who is all set to be back on the small screen with a new show called 'HRX Heroes', attended his show's launch in Mumbai.
At the launch, the actor revealed the idea behind the series, which is to put forth the achievements of people, who overcame difficulties to become heroes.
"When we see newspapers or news channels, the focus is on horror, negativity. I would not want my kids and the youth to be moulded by fear... the idea is to show achievements of people. One should evoke hope in heart of people," he said at the show's launch.
Not a lot of people know this but the actor himself overcame speech disorder. Hrithik used to stutter while speaking and the actor overcame his this speech disorder during his growing years through intense voice exercises and willpower.
While talking about his speech disorder, Hrithik said, "Everybody wants to be a hero. I too managed to become a hero. To be a true hero is something else. Human being survives all odds... We all have that inner strength in us. There are times when you are lost, confused, we fail but we all have ability to rise and defeat."
The show will premiere on November 2 on Discovery channel.
