Athiya Shetty is just a movie old in B-town, but coming from a film family and having grown up amid the stars, she knows exactly what she wants from her showbiz career.
When asked about the actress whose career graph she’d love to emulate, Athiya replied without hesitation: “That would have to be Kajol.” Explaining her admiration for Kajol, Athiya said, “She’s such an amazing actor. In fact, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a film that I continue to watch repeatedly only because of her. I know all the dialogues by heart! It was the first movie that my mom (Mana Shetty) took me to watch in a theatre and I recall falling in love with her character. Dancing is something I really enjoy and I found Kajol so graceful in the latter half of the movie. I would love to do the kind of films she has done; she’s an inspiration to my generation of actors.”
