Mumbai: Salman Khan who is gearing up for the release of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', has decided to host a special screening for two of his earlier heroines — Bhagyashree and Madhuri Dixit-Nene. The two actresses have shared screen space with him in some of his earliest romantic blockbusters.
While Salman and Madhuri worked together in 'Saajan' (1991) and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!' (HAHK; 1994), the actor was seen with Bhagyashree in his first hit, 'Maine Pyar Kiya' (1989).
Salman, who is actively involved in the films' marketing plans, was eager to show the film to both the actresses with whom he has shared screen space in the past as Prem. However, no date has been finalised yet as Salman is currently shooting for another film 'Sultan' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Recently, Salman Khan voiced his opinion about the needs to shorten 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. His father, writer Salim Khan, who saw the movie last week, is supposedly of the same opinion. The makers are working on the final edit of the film.
Like all his film, the latest outing from Sooraj Barjatya also boasts to be one big family affair. From Anupam Kher to Manoj Joshi, Swara Bhaskar to Neil Nitin Mukesh, this one has it all. The film will see Salman in a double role as a prince and professional fighter and it is definitely going to be one Diwali Dhamaka.
