Spinners need to be smart, says Harbhajan Singh
Despite being omitted for the South Africa Tests, Harbhajan said he wasn’t worried about his exclusion
Chennai: Ever since the comeback of veteran offie Harbhajan Singh, there has been a debate about the potential competition between himself and lead spinner R. Ashwin. Despite being omitted for the South Africa Tests, Harbhajan said he wasn’t worried about his exclusion.
Talking about his own game, the 35-year-old mentioned: “I am looking to take wickets because the best way to contain the batsman is by getting them out. We want to have a lot of catching fielders in place and attack. In that process you will go for boundaries here and there. “As a spinner, whether you are bowling in the first six or last six, you must be smart,” he said.
