Congress and YSR leaders are not attending the new capital Amaravati foundation ceremony

Uddandarayunipalem: The Congress and YSR Congress leaders are not attending the new capital Amaravati foundation ceremony scheduled on October 22 at Uddandarayunipalem of Capital Region on the banks of River Krishna.

Earlier CPM protested acquiring multi-crop unique fertile lands without the consent of the farmers and fought on behalf of agriculture workers and landless poor of the Capital Region villages. They conducted protests in various forms demanding compensations, social security pensions, houses, works for unemployed, free education and other facilities to the natives of Capital Region. The party also conducted agitations in support of the suppressed communities of the Capital Region villages. Now the duo parties are going to attend the capital foundation ceremony.
