Andhra Pradesh to ink pact with Japan
Vijayawada: The state government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Japanese government three hours before the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony begins, on development of infrastructure in the new capital.
Japanese minister for economy trade and industry Yosuke Takagi and the Chief Minister would attend the function. The Japan International Cooperation Agency and AP government would sign the MoU, as per a release by the CRDA.
This is primarily for infra and industrial development, sources said. Finer details will be worked out soon, sources said. JICA has already pledged its cooperation for coastal-centric development in the state. The CM wants the financial firm to extend and participate in the capital building in the Swiss Challenge method.
