This pathologist posts grim photos of the dead on social media
She currently has around 500,000 followers on Instagram

Instagram, the popular photo-sharing social media website, is not meant for just showing off your latest vacation spot or what your coffee looks like. Apparently, it can also be used for some science. That’s what Nicole Angemi believes, who works as pathologist’s assistant. Her Instagram account is touted to be one of the most controversial ones. The reason – she posts pictures of organ dissections and autopsies.
If you go through her account – you will find shocking photos of dissected brains, prolapsed uteruses and miscarried fetuses. However, she doesn’t just share graphic photos – she also gives detailed captions alongside the pictures so that viewers can know more about the human body and its cause of death.
Currently boasting around 500,000 followers on Instagram, Angemi still has to regularly remind her followers that she is not a doctor who treats living people, according to Vice News. She specializes in identifying infections and identifying the disease of the deceased.
