Telugu Netizens welcome K Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposed visit to AP capital ceremony

Prople hailed Chandrababu Naidu for setting an example of friendliness between the two states

Vijayawada: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposed visit to AP capital ceremony is now a hot topic among Telugu netizens on the virtual world.

Though Andhra netizens are surprised over the need for Chandrasekhar Rao to be present at the ceremony of new AP capital, majority of them hailed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for setting an example of friendliness between the two states. A few others saw a ploy of Mr Rao in accepting the invitation in view of GHMC elections.

For inviting Mr Rao, Mr Naidu is being hailed by a section of people. “Ekka-da Taggalo kadu, ekkada neggalo telisina manishi mana babu,” says N.L. Narasimham in a Facebook comment attributing a popular dialogue from Trivikram’s movie.

Srikanth says, “This is KCR kind of politics. Why he has given appointment to CM Mr Naidu is for GHMC elections. So many Andhra people staying in Hyderabad. If he denies invitation and does not visit Amaravati he has to lose votes of Andhraites.”

Commenting on a picture where Mr Naidu is inviting Mr Rao, a netizen, Ajay Kambhampati, said, “He should have done this to Jagan as well. He is the Opposition leader of AP.”

“No friends and no enemies in politics! Only common man will take everything personal. Hats off to both the Chief ministers,” says Chundi Sarma.

Now a movie on Amaravati

Adding a filmy touch to the much-hyped capital ceremony, a production house Bharateeyam Arts, the first movie banner in Vijayawada post bifurcation, is going to make a film on establishment of Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the film producer Velagapudi Gopala Krishna Prasad said that the movie would feature all the events that led to bifurcation as well as developments post bifurcation. He said the political, historical and cultural background of Andhra Pradesh would be featured in the movie.

Gopala Krishna said that the film will deal with sacrifices of the farmers who came forward and gave away their land to the government for building world-famous capital.
